Dear Students and Parents,

Welcome to Mariemont Elementary Kindergarten.  I am looking forward to meeting you and getting to know you.  Since many of you have never met me before, I thought you might want to know a few things about me.

I have taught Kindergarten for 26 years (24 of those years have been at Mariemont Elementary).  I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Olivet Nazarene University.  I finished my Master's Degree at Xavier University and I am a Reading Specialist.

My husband's name is Steve and we have been married for 25 years.  We have two sons.  Michael is 20 years old and Patrick is 18 years old.  We also have a West Highland Terrier named Kirby.  My family lives in West Chester.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, rubber stamping, traveling, cooking and baking.  I am very involved at my church.  I teach Senior High Sunday School, sing in the choir and in ensembles, and I serve on the church board.

I can't wait to meet you!  We are going to have a fun year and I am looking forward to our time together.
