How can I help during the school year?

At Home

Trace materials for art projects
Cut materials or laminated work
Collate and staple books
Send in supplies for parties, cooking activities or special events

In the Classroom

Be a helping parent  from 8:30-10:00   10:00-11:30
Listen to children read the Take-Home Readers
Write "book words" in journals during writing time   
Help with class parties or special events
Read aloud for a parent Book Share
Be a Workshop parent (supervise a small group during an academic task)
Hang and/or remove bulletin boards

At School

Be a library aid (check-in, check-out, reshelve books during your class
                           library time)
Be a PTO Volunteer (check out their website below)
