The United States is a country with many diverse areas from sea to shining sea! Students will be working in teams to research and become an expert on one region of the United States. Each team will be responsible for creating an outline with the information they have learned about their region. The research and outline component of this project will be completed in class. Each team will then create a mini-miniature golf course in science class that shows the unique qualities of their region. For example, last year a group who researched the Northeast Region decided that each hole of their golf course would be a different baseball stadium of the Northeast. Another group researched the West Region and chose to make their golf course gold rush boom towns and ghost towns.
