Congratulations on becoming young entrepreneurs! Your job is start your own business by working in a group to come up with a simple idea to create a good. Your group will work cooperatively to present a business plan to identify the factors of production, organize your resources to produce and sell a product, promote the item through advertising and analyze your financial results. Any initial production costs will need to be reimbursed once a profit has been realized. Therefore, any costs associated with the product will be kept on a financial report and you are to repay any loans you receive. All receipts for production materials must be kept and stored in your group's business folder. Ideas for goods to produce include: stress balls, flower pens, friendship bracelets, bookmarks, picture frames, key chains, slime and mystery balloons. You may want to visit one of the craft websites for ideas or look through the craft books in class.
