Our new fourth grade science program by Harcourt School Publishers is based on the National Science Education Standards. The science program is divided into three units: Earth and Space Sciences, Life Sciences, and Physical Sciences. Each unit gives students the content they need along with a variety of hands-on-activities that support what they are learning.
Harcourt's award-winning website, The Learning Site, provides an array of online activities and experiences for all learners. Students can visit the site, found at www.hspscience.com any time for interactive learning games and activities. A multimedia Science Glossary is also provided.
We will have tests at the end of each chapter. The chapter tests must be signed and returned.
