| Our
spelling program is Houghton Mifflin. The
spelling words are organized by word families. They coordinate with the
phonics lessons being taught in reading. Students will be
given weekly tests. Students also have a list of words most often used in everyday writing taped to their desks. We encourage them to use this list as a resource for spelling. They also have a Quick Word Speller to help them locate words they need spelled correctly. |
