Welcome to Mariemont City Schools! We are happy to include your family as part of our school community and hope to make this transition for you and your child as easy as possible. Please use this page as a guide to insure your registration is accurate and complete.
The Mariemont City School District uses FinalForms for all student registration. All parents and guardians registering a kindergartener will first be asked to create an account. After creating a parent account, please click the "Registration Open for Next Year - click this button for more info on 2017-18" button on the top of the screen and then select "2030" as the year your student is expected to graduate from high school. In FinalForms, parents and guardians have the ability to register online, edit emergency contact information and manage athletic forms in one location. This system streamlines the process for all involved.
Note: Click the link above to begin registration. After creating a parent account, please click the "Registration Open for Next Year - click this button for more info on 2017-18" button on the top of the screen and then select "2030" as the year your student is expected to graduate from high school.
To enter kindergarten, your child must be five (5) years old on or before September 30 of their kindergarten school year. To register for kindergarten, we ask that you complete our kindergarten registration packet, starting here with the online portion of registration. After you complete online registration and click "continue," you will be brought back to the checklist below of the necessary documentation to bring to Kindergarten Registration or the Central Registration office to the attention of Nancy Lonnemann at the Mariemont Junior High School (3847 Southern Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45227).
Online registration for kindergarten is active in March every school year. Kindergarten Registration for 2017-18 will be on on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at 6:30pm for both Terrace Park Elementary and Mariemont Elementary. This important meeting for both parents and incoming students serves as a time to turn in the required documentation for enrollment, sign up for your child's kindergarten screening, meet and interact with kindergarten teachers, visit the kindergarten classrooms, learn about the curriculum and ask questions.
Prior to that meeting, parents/guardians must complete the online portion of registration here and begin collecting documentation required for registration (see below). It is important that all documentation and information is completed. Please do not forget to include emergency and medical contact information. Although we hope we never need to use this information, it is crucial that we have it on hand. If you are filling out the online registration, please do not forget to add yourself and your contact information as an emergency contact for your child.
Please note: Your child's kindergarten enrollment is not complete until online registration is submitted and all necessary documents have been received.
After registering, we encourage you to visit each school where your child(ren) will be attending. Call ahead for an appointment to make this process quick and easy for you. You will receive individual welcome information from each principal to ensure you and your students will feel prepared and right at home. Again, we welcome you to our school district and wish your family all the best!
