This school year marks my fourteenth year in teaching and my seventh year at Mariemont. When I graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2002, I had no idea what this degree had in store for me. I have had some very unique teaching opportunities throughout the years, including teaching english in a remote village in Kenya in 2005. I am currently in graduate school completing an internship in school administration and looking forward to graduating in May. I am at a point in my career where I can reflect on how far education has come and am excited to think about the future for our children. Teaching at the junior high has been the highlight of my career and working with this staff inparticular makes my job that much more rewarding. This community has proven to me time and time again how important it is to take care of each other and our children...it really does take a village and I am blessed to be a part of it.
