MJHS Community Service

MJHS Community Service

There are many Mariemont Junior High students involved in community service.  Students can get involved in service activities with their families, on their own or through school-facilitated events. Mrs. Parr coordinates the recruiting of volunteers for events throughout the school year.  These events are included in the school's daily announcements.

Students can join Builders Club, affiliated with Kiwanis International, as a way to get involved in community service. Mrs. Parr is the club advisor and she regularly contacts club members about service opportunities.  Whether a Builders Club member or not, students are encouraged to submit their completed hours by filling out this electronic form. Students who complete five or more volunteer hours receive recognition at school.

At Mariemont City Schools, we strive to help all of our students be deeply committed members of the community and world. Support organizations and volunteers are an integral part of our work, showing all of our students how to become Leaders of Tomorrow.
