Any current 8th grader interested in playing soccer this fall should attend a meeting on Friday, May 25th at the high school in room 15 with Coach Vanags after school.  Please contact coach Vanags if you plan to try out but cannot attend.

Good afternoon 8th grade parents and guardians!  An update and a quick reminder about DC 2018. It’s hard to believe that we’re mere weeks away from hitting the road! It truly is going to be a memorable trip. :) Update: as you may (or may not, no judgment!) remember from waaaaaaay back when we started planning for this trip at the beginning of their 7th grade year, we shared that the per student cost was a range (anywhere from $685-$750) based on the total number of students attending. At the time we began enrollments, our estimations suggested to us that the cost of the trip would be $695. This is the cost that most families enrolled and paid. However, we’ve had some fluctuations with numbers and the total cost is landing on $725 per student. For most families, this leaves a $30 balance. We are hoping to have all families connect with EF directly to take care of this final payment by Monday, May 21st.

~You may call EF at 1-888-333-9756 or visit their website using your traveler’s account number and password. ~Our tour number, should you need it, is 1931095HZ.

~Forgot your account number? We have it in the office. :)

~Forgot your password? There is a “Login help” link to assist you.

~If your family is on DC scholarship, your $30 balance will be covered.

Reminder: our last DC meeting of the year will be on Thursday, May 24th. We will have meetings at 7:30am, 2:30pm, and 6:30pm. This is for parent and student to attend together. We will be going over all the final details! Thank you - as always -for your support and flexibility as we plan this amazing experience for our kiddos! Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thanks!  -Molly

Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure:  Parents please send a note to school with your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other reason.  Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the office until you arrive.  If this procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival.  In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30
