Friday, November 17 is the Jr. High Winter Dance from 6:30 – 8:30 in the Commons/Gym. Admission is $5 and includes pizza, drinks and snacks. Dressy Casual (school dress code applies). Examples, for boys would be khakis, nice jeans collared or button-down shirt. For Girls: dressy top with nice slacks or jeans, dress or skirt.

Mariemont High School presents Harvey, a Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy by Mary Chase. Stage Agent describes the play as the story of a perfect gentleman, Elwood P. Dowd, and his best friend, Harvey -- a six-foot tall, invisible rabbit. Performances are at 7 p.m. Nov. 16, 17 and 18. Tickets are available online and at the high school box office during lunch hours (11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.) the week of the performance. The box office will also be open one hour before showtime each performance night. Tickets purchased at the box office can be paid with either check or cash. Credit card payments can only be made online. All tickets are general admission and are $5 for students and seniors; $10 for adults. Canned good donations (no glass, please) will be accepted at the door to benefit hurricane victims in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico.

Jr. High Parent /Teacher Conferences will take place on November 9 and November 15 from 4:00 – 8:00. Online registration is open until 11/11/17 for students interested in joining the Mariemont Ski & Snowboard Club. Ski Club is a four-week program at Perfect North Slopes for students grades 5 – 12. Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 firstname.lastname@example.org

As Cotillion season rapidly approaches, please consider donating your children's party wear clothing that no longer fits. Items can be dropped off at 729 Park Ave. On November 11 from 12:00PM- 2:00PM at the TP Community Building, you can shop for gently worn Cotillion clothing that WILL fit!
