The girls soccer team won yesterday against Sycamore 3-0 with goals scored by Sarah Comer, Delaine Oliveira and Noel Ridge and an assist by Marley Valentine. Thanks to goalie Braylin Ludwig for the shut out. Thanks to everyone who supported the bake sale to raise money to support Breast Cancer Awareness. Tonight is 8th grade night at the Jr. High girls soccer game. Come and support the team at their last home competition against Norwood when all 8th grade players will be recognized at half time. The game will be played at Kusel Stadium and begins at 6:15.

Picture retakes are Thursday, October 12 in room 209. If you are having your picture retaken, remember to bring your original picture packet to school on Thursday and give to the photographer. If you are buying pictures, please pick up an order form from the office.

The first Tinkerspace meeting of the year will take place in room 109, Mr. Willis’ room TODAY until 4:00. Tinkerspace is the Mariemont Junior High answer to a Makerspace. In makerspace, you get to take things apart and crate something new. We will be building our first project on that day and refreshments will be served, so come on in and get your hands dirty.

Science club will meet Wednesday, October 11th at 3:00 pm. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome. We will be investigating and making Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids? You will be able to take home your very own samples of each!
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 email@example.com
