The JH girls soccer team will play Sycamore tonight at Kusel Stadium at 5 p.m. Tonight the team will be sponsoring a bake sale in order to raise money to support Breast Cancer Awareness. The team’s last home game is on Tuesday, October 10 against Norwood at Kusel Stadium (game begins at 6:15p.m.)
Lady Warriors, a group run by girls, for girls, will be holding their first meeting on Monday, October 23rd at lunch. Any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in checking out this fun, social club, please meet in the library for lunch. Questions? See Mrs. Skinner!
Picture retakes are Thursday, October 12 in room 209. If you are having your picture retaken, remember to bring your original picture packet to school on Thursday and give to the photographer. If you are buying pictures, please pick up an order form from the office.

The first Tinkerspace meeting of the year will take place in room 109, Mr. Willis’ room on Tuesday, October 10th until 4:00. Tinkerspace is the Mariemont Junior High answer to a Makerspace. In makerspace, you get to take things apart and crate something new. We will be building our first project on that day and refreshments will be served, so come on in and get your hands dirty.

Science club will meet Wednesday, October 11th at 3:00 pm. All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome. We will be investigating and making Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids? You will be able to take home your very own samples of each!
Late Arrival / Early Dismissal Procedure: Parents please send a note to school with your student if they need to leave early for an appointment or other reason. Please remind your student to bring the note to the office upon arrival (prior to first bell class) where they will receive a pass to leave class early and wait at the office until you arrive. If this procedure is followed, your student will be sent outside to meet you upon your arrival. In place of a note to school you may email Mrs. Murray prior to 8:30 firstname.lastname@example.org
