Pennies for Patients: Have you ever thought about how long money lasts? A $1 bill lasts 18 months; a $5 bill, two years; a $10 bill, three years; a $20 bill, four years; and $50 and $100 bills, nine years. Coins can usually survive for about 30 years. The U.S., Mint estimates that there is 13 BILLION dollars in loose change laying around in the US! Where is it laying around in your house?
JH Spring Sports pictures will be taken after school TODAY. Please check with your coach for picture order forms, location and picture schedule.
We are gearing up for an amazing day on March 24th and wanted to give you a sneak peek of what we have in store for our students and staff! Next Friday, March 24th, will be our 2nd annual MJHS Day of Service. This is the day that every student, teacher, and staff member from the junior high (and a few additional helpers from around the district) will be out of the classroom, out of the building, and some out of the district - serving in our community. Students will have the chance to spend the entire day giving back in the service of others and the greater community. We have partnered with over 20 different agencies to provide a variety of different service opportunities for the students.
We continue to take care and brood our chicks this week. Any help before and after school would be appreciated. Adoption day is Friday. If you plan on adopting, see Mr. Amlung to pick up the adoption papers you will need to have your parent sign.
