3-16-17 Announcements

Pennies for Patients: Did you know the number 13 is represented on the dollar bill several times: there are 13 arrows, 13 leaves in the olive branch, 13 stars, and 13 stripes on the shield. Thirteen stands for the original 13 colonies that formed the United States. Last year, students across the country raised 28 Million Dollars! Stacked on top of one another that is enough pennies to make it around the world 1.3 times! But The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Student Series is more than just finding pennies; it is about finding a cure! Thanks to schools like ours, LLS is supporting life-saving research and making cures happen not someday, but today!
