Completed a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Wright State University through the college of Curriculum and Instruction. Received a B.S. in Secondary Science and Math Education from the University of Cincinnati, along with a Professional Practice Certificate in Chemical Engineering. Attended and completed coursework at the University of California Berkeley, Miami University, University of Cincinnati, Walsh College, College of the Pacific, Ashland University and Wright State University. Married, with two children (Katie attends Virginia Tech and Logan attends Loveland High School), and one dog (Einstein). Taught at Princeton High School and Ursuline Academy in Blue Ash. Served on the Board for P.A.G.E. and taught several courses for elementary children identified for gifted education. Worked in chemical engineering for the Ohio Edison Company.
