April 24 Update

It's a busy four days at 1 Warrior Way this week as our teams wrap up this last week of April before prom weekend arrives on Friday. A very successful week last week for the Warriors and Lady Warriors last week, with high hopes for this week. First, congratulations to the members of Key Club who once again hosted a very successful Eliminate 5K to eliminate Neonatal Tetanus worldwide. with the support of the Mariemont Kiwanis, 100% of the proceeds of this event go to the cause. Well done, Warriors. The varsity baseball team capped off last week with 3 wins, and set their sights on Taylor at Taylor on Monday, and home games on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with Mt.Healthy, Taylor, and Wyoming. The varsity softball team travels to Taylor on Monday, and hosts Taylor on Wednesday and Wyoming on Thursday. The running Warriors of Track and Field competed at Finneytown and Anderson last week, and look forward to two more meets this week. The Warriors compete at Taylor on Tuesday and Little Miami on Thursday. The tennis Warriors host Finneytown on Tuesday and Madeira on Wednesday before battling the field in the SW Ohio Coaches Classic on Thursday and Saturday. The boys lacrosse Warriors dropped an exciting game to St. X on Monday, but recovered to smother Indian Hill and Milford last week, and look forward to host Bishop Watterson on Monday at 530 and 730, and Loveland on Wednesday for the annual youth lacrosse night at 530 and 730. A big thank you to the Milford Warriors who supported the GForce with special shooting shirts for Saturday's game and a donation to the GForce Foundation. The Lady Warriors lacrosse team fell short in a comeback bid vs Indian Hill last week, but rebounded to defeat Seton on Saturday. The lady Warriors travel to Turpin on Monday, and then return home to host Wyoming on Tuesday at 530 and 7, and Walnut Hills on Thursday at 530 and 7. Thursday will feature a special GForce Night as our lacrosse community comes together with raffles, a bake sale, and pulled pork dinners to benefit the Harden Family in their battle against ALS. We hope you will join us for the game and the cause, and support the girls and their families for all their efforts in this event. Finally, the Mariemont Kiwanis Golf Outing tees off this year on May 13.
