Design Workshop II was held on April 12 at Mariemont High School. As the second of three design workshops, we built upon and incorporated the feedback we received from the first workshop. With input from our steering committee – which consists of more than 20 community members – our design architectural firm, MSA Architects, created an evolved set of initial options for us to review and discuss; and they presented revised development scenario categories - from minimal renovations to a complete overhaul of the high school facility.
Participants were given the opportunity to evaluate the ability of that option to meet the goals and criteria outlined in the beginning of the Design Workshop. Your feedback is critical, too, so we invited everyone to participate in the virtual Design Workshop II below. The surveys remained open until 11:59pm on Monday, April 17. With more than 50 in-person and online participants after the first session, we were hopeful that we would continue to engage as many student, staff and community members as possible so that all voices are heard during this important process.
Each workshop is different, so feel free to participate in the final Design Workshop, which will be held on Monday, April 24 at Mariemont High School. There is no need to RSVP for any of the workshops but if you have any questions, please email the district here. VIEW THE RESULTS FROM THE SURVEY BELOW.
View the virtual MHS Facility Design Workshop II, in which you will review the revised options for renovations, based on the feedback we received at and after Design Workshop I. After the video, viewers were prompted to pause to take this survey. This survey is now closed.
