    1. Students:  Just a reminder that the last day to drop a class for a study hall is October 3.  Anyone wishing to drop a class must turn in a drop/add form that is signed by the student and parent by October 3. 
    2. Sources of Strength leaders will be registering people during lunch on Thursday and Friday for the Warrior Run in the Commons. You can also make a donation, even if you can't attend the run. Student registration is $10 and you will get a Busken's cookie in return. The Warrior Run supports mental health services in our community.
    3. There will be a Philanthropy club meeting during the Tuesday Warrior Bell today.
    4. The hiking club will be going to California Woods this Saturday. If you are attending this hike and you did not attend the previous hike you need to see Mrs. Long so that you are signed up in google classroom and get the letter.

The Warrior Run is this weekend on October 6th!  Please consider joining our HS challenge team by participating in the 5k, 1 mile walk, or volunteering to help out!  The link to register will be posted on the Mariemont counselors page in Blackboard.  Winning HS team receives a Skyline lunch.  Check out for details or see Jonah Dill. 

The Warrior Run: The Race for Life, on October 6 at 5pm. They are in need of about 60 more volunteers for our race and would love to offer our students this service learning opportunity!


Volunteers will receive a free T-shirt AND have access to our family-friendly after-party after their shift is up. The after-party includes FREE FOOD from Pontiac BBQ, Roly Poly subs, LaRosa’s, hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled cheese, homemade chili, Whirly Bird granola, and many desserts. There is a link on blackboard where Students can sign-up 


They also have 12 Sunday clean-up spots open!

    1. Detention this week will be served with Mr. Wiseman in Room 8.
    2. Register your student for mCORE heart screening to look for cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk for Sudden Cardiac Arrest. See the attached flyer for more information. The screening will take place at Mariemont High School on Monday, October 22nd from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
    3. The Center for Science and Industry (COSI) will be visiting Mariemont Elementary tomorrow and they could use some assistance seeting up the auditorium and gymnasium tonight (Tuesday, October 2) at 6:15 p.m. Please consider helping with set up and you can earn a community service hour in the process.
