ANNOUNCEMENTS -- Wednesday, AUGUST 30, 2017


  1. Any Student wishing to join Key Club should see Mrs. Bell.  Key Club members can also pick up Art Fair booklets for distribution from Mrs. Bell.  Dues will be due by Friday Sept. 8th.
  2. Students wishing to join Spanish Club should attend a very brief meeting after school today in señora Timmerding's room.  You do not need to take Spanish to be a member - we welcome all students.
  3. AFS! If you would like to join the AFS Club, please see senora Timmerding or officers Cassidy Bollman or Nate Michaelson.  Dues will be $5.  JOIN!! It’s the best ever!
  4. Service Projects Abroad will be having a meeting in C-20 on Thursday Morning to discuss Art Fair at 7:15 am. Please try to make it as we will be discussing important information about Art Fair.
  5. Auditions for this year's fall play, Harvey, will take place at 3pm on Tuesday, September 5th in the auditorium. Please see Mr. Weiss in room 10 for audition materials.
  6. If you are planning to turn in a PE Waiver for fall sports or marching band, or a PE Flex Credit form for first semester credit, the deadline to turn in these forms is Tuesday, September 5.  Both forms are available either on our school’s website or in the CCPC.  Please turn your completed forms in to the CCPC.
  7. The volleyball teams stormed into Finneytown last night and swept the gym clean with the JV gaining a two game sweep, and the varsity sweeping the match 25-9, 25-11, 25-9 to raise their record to 4-3 on the season.  Their next match is Tuesday against Indian Hill at home, and a huge crowd will help seal the deal against the Braves. Be there!
  8. Need community service hours?  The Terrace Park Labor Day Yard Sale is looking for strong volunteers to help with heavy item pick up this Thursday from 6-9 pm. We are also looking for anyone who can bring a pick-up truck that we can use to move the items.  In addition, we need volunteers this Saturday, September 2nd from 11:00 – 2:00 to help pack up the leftover items.  If interested, contact Carole Wilkinson at
  9. Stepping Stones is also looking for volunteers ages 13 and up to help out at their Saturday programs which run from September through April.  If you are interested, flyers are available in the CCPC.
  10. Join the HS Challenge for the Warrior Run on Sept 30!  The winning HS receives a Skyline lunch. Click here to register. Consider signing up to run/ walk 1 mile or 5k, volunteer and get service hours, or just donate to a great cause- teen mental health and wellness!See Jonah Dill or Kayla Dewey for more information.
  11. Please join with Mariemont’s National Honor Society on Sunday, Sept. 17 as they walk in support of those who suffer from ALS, either by donating or by walking with us.  Click here to register.
