Seventh grade language arts encompasses many different aspects of language. We cover elements of writing, grammar, reading, vocabulary, and spelling.

Eighth grade language arts builds on what was taught in the 7th grade. It goes from two bells to one bell and requires more independent work.

Eighth grade studies provides students the opportunity to learn and develop study skills, organizational skills, and social skills in order to encourage success in their academic classes and in life. The main focus of the class is language arts support.

Each quarter we will focus on learning and utilizing different studying techniques and strategies to assist the students with language arts class. We will also work on organization with regard to projects, assignments, and other subjects. The course of study will be determined by the other academic classes and will vary weekly.
