Kindergarten Registration

Welcome to Mariemont City Schools! We are happy to include your family as part of our school community and hope to make this transition for you and your child as easy as possible. Please use this page as a guide to insure your registration is accurate and complete. Please note that in order to enroll in kindergarten for the 2024-25 school year, your child must turn five (5) years old on or before September 30, 2024.
 
Mariemont City Schools will hold kindergarten screening at both Mariemont Elementary and Terrace Park Elementary schools on May 10, 2024. In order to be scheduled for a screening time, you must complete the registration process in Final Forms by following the steps below.  
 
Families that have completed the registration process will receive the Welcome to Kindergarten book in the mail.

Kindergarten registration for the 2024-25 school year will open on February 14, 2024. In order to register your child for kindergarten, we ask that you complete our online registration process by following the steps below.




  1. Click the Online Registration link https://mariemontschools.powerschool.com/public/formbuilder/form.html?formid=559
  2. If you are a new parent to the district, create a PowerSchool parent account using the following link: https://mariemontschools.powerschool.com/public/. If you are a current parent with children already enrolled, use your existing PowerSchool parent account to log in.



Once Central Registration has approved the new student registration, please sign into PowerSchool and complete the following forms:

  • Health History and Medical Profile
  • Medications
  • Injuries and Hospitalizations
  • Past and Ongoing Health Conditions
  • Emergency Medical Authorization
  • Student Handbook

  • Directory Information
  • Additional Permissions

Forms to complete and bring to kindergarten screening

Documents to upload to PowerSchool, email to [email protected] or drop off at the Central Registration office (2 Warrior Way, Cincinnati, Ohio 45227).
  • Original Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency (copy of lease, closing papers or a current utility bill with name & address)
  • Custody Papers, if applicable
  • IEP copy, if applicable
  • (NOTE: We will make the necessary copies and give originals back to you.)
