My name is Kelsey B.  I am 17 years old and a senior at Mariemont.  I have been playing the violin since I was in the 5th grade.  I plan on attending college to pursue a degree in music education.  I am also the co-captain of the varsity cheerleading squad and I work part-time at the Smoothie King and enjoy it a lot.  I enjoy many different types of music and love to learn to play a variety of music.  I also love my food especially Indian food.  My parents are very supportive of all of my choices and encourage me to try new things.  I come from a blended family with many siblings and I am the youngest of all eight.  Whenever I have any free time I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family

I am Lauren. This is my fifth year of playing the violin. I really enjoy it and I especially like our teacher Ms. Khamis!! I also love playing basketball and running track. My favorite thing in track is long jump. My favorite classes at school are world history and strings (of course). I am in many clubs at school such as key club, spirit club, AFS club, Spanish club, and stock club (be jealous). I love shopping and looking nice for school. Fashion is basically a hobby of mine. It’s one of my favorite things to do besides basketball, and hanging out with my friends. I like going to school, just so I can see everyone and Ms. Khamis, plus go to strings. I love going to football games or any other school related events like that.

This is Shelby's fifth year playing the violin. She LOVES the violin. She also loves Miss Khamis, cheerleading, gymnastics, softball, bears, fall, pumpkins, Christmas, Dr. Seuss, Smallville, House, American Idol, cereal, reading, snow, and beaches. But most of all, she loves playing in the high school orchestra!

Hi. My name is Elizabeth L.L.  I have many nicknames (triple L Liz bug, Kioko…), but you can just call me Lizzy. I was born in Thailand and was adopted when I was one. I lived in Tennessee and then moved to Mariemont in fifth grade from Anderson. I play softball and viola- it’s bigger than a violin! Reading is one of my favorite pastimes; I can go through a couple books in a week, especially if it is the newest installment of Harry Potter. My favorite subject is science, least favorite is math. I love Grey’s Anatomy!!! It must be like the best show EVER invented. I also like hanging out with my friends- Magic Wok! That’s basically all about me that I’m willing to say.

Caitlin P. is a junior at Mariemont High School. She has played the viola since 5th grade, and greatly enjoys this instrument. Caitlin is an avid participator in music and theater groups, including strings, Showstoppers, Chorus, Masque & Mime, the fall play, and the spring musical. She also plays on the varsity volleyball team and is in Latin Club. Caitlin enjoys walks on the beach, dancing, eating sushi, and long discussions about Harry Potter.
