Auditions for Altissimo 's 2010 Sessions

Audition Requirements

1. 2 Octave Scales:   C Major, G Major, D Major, A Major, F Major & B flat Major
   Basses -One Octave
2. 2 Octave Arpeggios in the same keys
   Basses - One Octave.
3. Play a piece of your choice, exhibiting your best or most advanced skills.
4. Simple sight reading piece
5. For Violin II =  Demonstrate (either in your selected piece or in any selected exercise or scales) ability to shift to III Position.
6. For Violin I = Demonstrate (either in your selected piece or in any selected exercise or scales) ability to shift to II, III, & V Positions.
7. For Viola = Demonstrate (either in your selected piece or in any selected exercise or scales) ability to shift to III.  (II & IV Positions a plus.)
8. For Cello  = Demonstrate (either in your selected piece or in any selected exercise or scales) ability to shift to II, III, IV  (reading tenor clef is a big plus, but not required)
9. For Bass = Show the ability to shift during scales and prepared piece.  No specific positions designated.
