8th grade open house information- ACP and CP Language Arts Mrs. Jordan (off my power point!)

In the 8th grade, we continue to work on developing writing skills and mechanics, reading for comprehension, enhancing vocabulary and spelling skills.  We will continue  to study the fundamentals of grammar.

}College Prep students are required to read TWO books per quarter.
}Advanced College Prep students are required to read FOUR

    books per quarter.

Both classes will do various activities with their novels.  Students should ALWAYS be READING!!!!!!
