Science routine for each day

• Every student should be in the classroom on time with all materials needed.

• General announcements are made and the students complete their jobs.

• The agenda is written on the board with the date and items to achieved for that day.

• Homework is to be completed on time and turned in or checked be the teacher

• Homework is reviewed and any questions are answered

• The class then moves on to the new topic.

HOMEWORK

• Homework is rare but important.

• I accept homework 2-3 days late and take points off when necessary.

• Current events are accepted 2-3 weeks late when necessary.

LABS

• Labs are extremely important in science and will be collected for a grade

• Labs are reviewed as a class and made sure students understand the main ideas and objectives.

• Lab grades are added to the homework portion of the science grade.

• Labs range from 25 minutes to 4 days long.

MATERIALS

• materials in science are expensive and sometimes dangerous if used incorrectly.

• Students are held responsible for their actions in science class with the materials and around other students.
