5th grade math class has a general routine for each day

• Every student should be in the classroom on time with all materials needed.

• General announcements are made and the students complete their jobs.

• The agenda is written on the board with the date and items to achieved for that day.

• Homework is to be completed on time and turned in or checked be the teacher

• Homework is reviewed and any questions are answered

• the class then moves on to the new objective.

• With about 5 to 10 minutes left, the class may start their homework.

• There is homework assigned Monday thru Thursday.

• Homework is usually excepted a few days late for partial credit.

• Exemptions are test days.

• Extra credit is usually offered once a week.

• Students can see me during recess if asked to before that day for any reason.
