Mariemont High School has been named a Blue Ribbon School, the highest honor given schools by the U.S. Department of Education. This is the third time Mariemont has won the award since the program began in 1982. Seven other Greater Cincinnati schools were recognized. Nationwide, 172 schools learned of the honor, about 1 percent of the nation’s middle-high schools.
“This is an honor for our students, staff, faculty, parents and community members who together work toward making Mariemont High School one of the best in the country,” Principal Tom Crosby said.
