5th Language Arts

      Fifth grade is full of learning experiences four ways.  I teach reading and language arts to two classes of 5th graders.  Mrs. Mathis will teach one class reading and language arts.  She will also teach two social studies classes, and Mr. Z will teach the other one.  Mr. Zaya also teaches 5th graders science. Math in 5th grade is taught by Mr. Browning, Mrs. Mathis, Mr. Zaya, and myself, Mrs. Hurley.  Variety is the spice of 5th grade with different teachers, assignments, projects, responsibilities and choices.  The key to success, though, is the same:
