It’s hard to believe from my perspective that the 2007 season is over already. 4-6 is surely not where we wanted or expected to end up and in that respect it is very disappointing. I have to say, however, that working with the fine young men on our team was a pleasure every day. They showed up every day ready to work, were responsive to coaching and always gave good effort. I hope they had as much fun as their coaches did. Our senior class was quite a group. They demonstrated solid leadership to the younger players and have contributed a great deal to our program during their careers. I’ll miss them a lot.

 

Many thanks go to our fine group of spirited and supportive parents. The team dinners, ice cream parties, motivational signs in the locker room before games, drinks after away games and most importantly just being there for their sons was truly appreciated. I’ll miss our senior parents a great deal too… you have been amazingly supportive. THANKS.

 

Thanks also go to our band, cheerleaders and student body who showed great spirit this year… it really helps. Many people volunteer to work behind the scenes and at games in the press box, filming, taking stats, working the chains, keeping our web site current, etc. and I want to thank all of you too. We are fortunate to have such overwhelming support.

 

The coaches and underclassmen are already working toward next season and getting back on the winning track. I hope everyone has a terrific winter .
