Maria Childs-Head Varsity Cheerleading Coach
This is Maria's tenth year as a
Varsity Coach at Mariemont High School. Under the direction of Maria, the
Warrior Cheerleaders have performed at both the Gator Bowl and the BCS National
Championship Title Game. She is NCSSE certified, a COA cheer coach, and a Member
of American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors. Prior to coaching
the Varsity level, Maria coached elementary cheerleading. She received her
bachelor’s degree from The College of Mount Saint Joseph and her master’s degree
from Miami University. She currently teaches 2nd grade at Terrace Park
Elementary. Maria resides in Union Township with her husband Scott, and their
sons.
Marissa Trybus- Junior Varsity Cheerleading Coach
Marissa Trybus is in her fifth year teaching at Mariemont High School and tenth year overall. Ms. Trybus has coached cheerleading for four years and is the Spirit Club sponsor.
Jennifer Schlotman- Freshman Cheerleading Coach
Jennifer is a native of Cincinnati but lived in Minneapolis and Boston for many
years. She received her Undergraduate Degree from the University of
Cincinnati, her Master's Degree from Xavier University and her PhD from The Ohio
State University. Jennifer has over 7 years of coaching experience and currently
lives in Hyde Park with her husband Kevin and daughter Annabelle. She is
currently in the consulting industry doing project management and business
development, and also serves as an adjunct professor at Xavier
University. Jennifer has a true passion for coaching and is incredibly excited
about joining the Mariemont program.
