ABOUT US

Mariemont Parking Crew is a division of MPC TRAFFIC CONTROL, which is a community organization dedicated to providing safe and effective traffic and parking control operations. Originally formed in 1999 to handle event parking for events at Mariemont High School, MPC has become a well-known Mariemont institution. Over the past several years MPC has expanded to provide traffic control solutions at events throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

Mariemont Parking Crew serves the campus of Mariemont High School. We employ Mariemont High School students and strive to teach skills of leadership and agility as well as the importance of preparation.

MPC Traffic Control works closely with the Mariemont Police Department to handle road closures and traffic control for all large events throughout the Village of Mariemont. Our assistance allows Officers to maximize their focus on street patrol and crime prevention and minimize time spent stationary setting up for an event. We draw upon over a decade of traffic control experience and a vast array of specialized equipment providing the Village with superior service and improved cost-efficiency.

Our History

MPC was formed by Mariemont native and 2003 MHS graduate Ted Brown who started working for the Parking Crew as a freshman in high school in 1999. In those days, the parking crew was little more than a loose band of 4 students and a faculty advisor that worked only 5 events a year. Beginning in 2002, MPC saw a sharp increase in events at the high school due to the new turf installed in Kusel Stadium. Schools from all over the area rented the facility. These large events provided the parking crew with a great deal of experience and exposure to large-scale traffic control. By 2006, MPC worked over 100 events a year. Under the leadership of Andy Richardson, (MHS Class of 2007), MPC marketed its services to venues and events throughout Greater Cincinnati.  In 2007, MPC joined with the Mariemont Police Department to assist with traffic control at events throughout the Village.

MPC is currently managed by Andy Richardson and Chris Hendricks, 2007 MHS graduates with over 8 years of experience who are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community and carry on the Parking Crew traditions of reliability and excellence.
