Job Description

Responsible for drafting MPC's annual budget and working with the Director of Operations to allocate funds accordingly. Handles all other financial aspects of the Crew's operations, including payroll, contracts and equipment requisitions. Also responsible for marketing the services of MPC throughout the community to expand our reach to other District-wide events. Negotiates rates and contract details for those events. Oversees compliance with operational and procedural regulations and serves as the staff resource officer and representative. Evaluates employee performance and constantly works to improve training and employment standards to ensure that MPC continues to meet the needs of the community.

Career History

Andy is a 4-year veteran of MPC with over 75 events (2nd highest all-time record). He began working for the Crew in the Fall of 2004 and was promoted to Assistant Parking Supervisor in the Spring of 2005. Andy gained extensive experience working during 2005 and 2006 which were the 2 busiest years in MPC history. Andy was promoted to Head Parking Supervisor in the Spring of 2007, after Ted Brown was appointed the Director of Operations. Andy led the Crew with distinction and was appointed as  Comptroller in the Fall of 2007. This position allows him to share his time between managing the Crew's financial concerns and pursuing higher education in accounting.

Andy received the Distinguished Service Cross for service above and beyond the call of duty at the Varsity Football game vs. Indian Hill on September 15th, 2006.

He was also recognized as the 2006-2007 Employee of the Year. Andy is only the second employee to achieve the symbolic rank of Commander. The title is deeply rooted in MPC lore and derives from the nickname Athletic Director Jeff Watterson had for Ted Brown "Supreme Parking Commander." MPC subsequently adopted a rank system and uniform pay scale to award experience and title "Commander" was chosen to be the Crew's highest rank. Between 75 and 100 events are required to achieve the coveted silver eagle.

Personal Info

Andy is a 2007 graduate of Mariemont High School and is a business and accounting major at Ohio University. He enjoys soccer and baseball in his spare time and is an avid Reds and Bengals fan.
