Job Description

Oversees the day-to day operations of the Crew. Responsible for implementing procedure and policy to ensure that operations are carried out correctly and in accordance with the MPC mission. Handles staffing, scheduling and administrative details in addition to supervising operations for large events. Serves as the director of field operations and is the acting event supervisor for the Parking Crew.

Career History

Sam is a 3-year veteran of the Parking Crew with over 45 events of experience in 5 seasons. He began his career at MPC in the Spring of 2006 and was promoted to Assistant Parking Supervisor in Spring 2007. He was subsequently promoted to Head Parking Supervisor in Fall of 2007. Sam's skill and level-headed leadership has proved extremely valuable to the Crew on several occasions including during a Lacrosse game in 2007 when a semi-tractor trailer arrived at the high school. Sam calmly explained that there was no room for such a large vehicle to park and undertook the tedious task of turning it around in the driveway which was full of cars and pedestrians.

Personal Info

Sam is a senior at Mariemont High School who will be continuing to pursue his education at a university to be determined. Sam is an active member of the high school marching band and has had to share his time every fall between marching and working for the Parking Crew. He is also had leading roles in the school's fall play and spring musical for the past several years. Sam's younger brother Max also works for the Crew and was just promoted to Assistant Parking Supervisor in the Spring of 2008.
