Coach Haney received his Bachelors Degree in Communication in 1991 from the University of Cincinnati, and in 1998 he received his Masters in Secondary Education from Xavier University.  He joined the faculty of Mariemont in 1996 and has taught Physical Education at both the Elementary and Junior High, ICP, Health and Computer Applications at the Junior High. 

In addition to his teaching assignments, Coach Haney has been the Head Coach of Mariemont's Women's Soccer program since 1998.   Soccer consumes much of his free time, as he spends his spring working with the Olympic Development Program, and serves as a clinician in soccer camps throughout the summer with NKU, Ohio South Youth Soccer Association, On The Ball Soccer Academy, and Mariemont. 

The remainder of Coach Haney's spare time is spent with his children, Amanda and Austin, and his wife Kim, to whom he has been married since 1992.
