I am a Cincinnati native and received my bachelor degree in Nov. 1969 from Iowa State University. I returned home to Cincinnati and began teaching in the fall of 1970. I received a master's degree in Education in 1978 from Xavier University and have completed post graduate work at the University of Cincinnati. I was hired by the Mariemont Board of Education in 1981. In addition to academic classes, I coach varsity football, supervise winter/spring weightlifting, coach Jr. High School track, and supervise the board games during lunch.
THREE SECRETS TO SUCCESS

Be willing to learn new things

Be able to assimilate new information quickly

Be able to get along with and work with other people

I am looking forward to be working with your child. We will be covering about 100 years of American History. It is important that the students participate in class, keep up to date with their work,  be prepared for class, and present on the days of announced quizzes and tests.
