HOMEWORK
Homework will come from the review questions at the end of each
section of a chapter. These H.W.'s will be called SQ3R assignments.
There will also be a chapter review packet. All homework assignments
need to be completed in a neat fashion and properly labeled. Complete
sentences should be used when responding to open ended questions.
Homework assignments are given two days in advance of the due date. More
time is given to review packets. Missed homework assignments can only be
made up for credit if the student has a excused absence. Unexcused
absence homework is not accepted. Home works are assigned a number value
and graded. The final homework average will be equal to one test score
at the end of the quarter.
QUIZZES
There will be 7-9 quizzes per quarter. They are all announced in advance
and are over the chapter section review questions. The quiz average at
the end of the quarter will equal a test score.
TESTS
There will be 4 to 5 Chapter tests given per quarter. They are announced
at least 4 days in advance. The tests are multiple-choice questions and
essays. The essays will be given from a pool of essays given at the
students at the beginning of the new unit.
At the end of the quarter, the lowest test score will be dropped. The
remaining test scores, the homework average, and the quiz average will
then be added up and divided for the quarter grade. The Semester Exams
