About Us

History

The Mariemont School Foundation was formed in 1996 as a source of private funding for educational enhancements at Mariemont's five schools.  It is a tax-exempt 501 c (3) organization that helps the district maintain its goal of excellence in all academic areas.  The Foundation has contributed over $1 million in the past 11 years, on projects such as:

     - upgrading technology across all schools
     - updating the High School auditorium
     - renovating Kusel Stadium, the High School Natatorium and the Junior High
       gymnasium
     - funding teacher development for new math curriculum
     - refurbishing the Mariemont Elementary auditorium
     - funding performance trips for the High School band and the district
       Destination Imagination teams
     - funding student scholarships

Looking Ahead

As we  look to the challenges of funding our schools in an era of fiscal restraint and growing pressure on the tax base, we believe it will be vital to build an endowment fund that will provide for the long-term excellence of the Mariemont schools.  Click on Ways To Give for more information on this important new initiative.
