Class Requirements & Grading Procedures

   Safety:

     Safety in the classroom should be of the utmost concern to the student. Absolutely no 

      horseplay will be tolerated in the classroom. Actions taken by students other than those 

      outlined in the lab instructions or in teacher directions will be dealt with promptly with 

     appropriate disciplinary measures. Specifics will be discussed before and during each lab 

     activity. Lab grades and, subsequently, quarter grades will be directly affected by a student's

     actions in the lab. See your textbook (p. xviii-xx) and the "Physical Science Safety Guide" that 

     follows for safety rules and procedures.
