Extra Credit for Science
You may earn up to 10 points to your end of the quarter grade if you choose to do extra credit. Here's how...
Read an article from the newspaper that is science related. Cut the article out. Write a paragraph (approximately 8 sentences) stating what the article is about in their own words.
Next write another paragraph (approximately 8 sentences) stating what they thought about the article after reading it.
Staple the newspaper article to your final copy. You may print, write in cursive or type on the computer for their final paper.

Health
Nutrition
Home Safety
Children's Health
Adult Health
Extra Credit History
The following is a list of suggested activities that are related to the Chapter 29.
1.Interview people who served in Vietnam during the war. Tape the interview and bring to class. Ask their opinions of what they thought about the Vietnam. Would they fight for their country again. Interview at least 3 people.
2. Create a series of historical maps showing how the map of Vietnam has changed for the Vietnamese people.
3.Do a Power Point presentation about the facts related the to the Vietnam War. When it started
Why it started
Where the war was fought
Who were involved
Who won the war
What American's opinion of the war
4. Do pictorial presentation of the Vietnam War. Show pictures of the countries involved, battlefield, villages, etc.
5.ALL Extra Credit is due January 24, 2003. Be ready to give a 3 min. presentation about your Extra Credit.
