Lady Warriors
Lady Warriors is an extracurricular club for 7th and 8th grade girls. The club was started so that girls could talk openly about thoughts and feelings that they were going through. During meetings the girls actively participate in problem solving, analyze situations and reflect on their own choices and behaviors.
Lady Warriors provides a forum for girls to talk about issues such as:
|
dating | |
|
peer pressure | |
|

We welcome speakers and suggestions on activities, topics, etc. If you have any questions or suggestions, please contact Mrs. Buchert.
Junior High can be a very difficult time for all students and in particular girls. Physical and emotional changes often times affect adolescents more than we recognize. Providing opportunities for open dialogue about these changes can help increase self-esteem, self-awareness and communication among peers and parents.
Any 7th or 8th grade girl is welcome and encouraged to join Lady Warriors!!
