About our Team

Mariemont’s Boys Lacrosse Program has been in existence since 1995 in club form, and became an official school sport at Mariemont High School in 2002.  Since that time the Warriors have built a tradition of winning and excellence, while also being grounded in their commitment to be student athletes that also play other sports at MHS.

Each spring Mariemont’s Lacrosse team draws a diverse mix of athletes from football, soccer, golf, cross country, basketball, swimming, and wrestling; where these players bring their broad competitive experiences from their other sports to the lacrosse field.

Having notched a State Title in 2007 and multiple City titles at the JV level, our players understand what it takes in terms of work ethic and team work to succeed in the post season.

Although we have posted an overall record of 257 wins and 92 losses, Mariemont’s success is measured each year by how deep we go in the playoffs.

Along the way our players and coaches have  been recognized for their individual efforts as All Americans, Players of the Year and Coach of the Year; but each one of those award winners would have traded a state ring for the individual honor they received in a heart-beat.

Our lacrosse program is consistent from youth, through middle school and high school, where players become Terrace Park Bull Dogs and graduate to become Warriors;  such that often our boys end up playing together as teammates for a decade or more.  Our youth feeder program and the consistent set of values held by our long time coaches have been one of the biggest factors in our success over the years.

Our Program values are as follows:  Fundamentals: Focus, Practice, Mastery, Hard Work: Conditioning, Practices, Games, Pride: On/Off Field, Positive Winning Attitude, Respect: Team Members, Coaches, Officials, Opponents, Teamwork:  Support Everyone, All Together, Team Focus, Hustle: 100% Effort, On Defense, Loose Balls, Four Quarters, Success: As Students, As People, As a Team, As State Champs.

Come watch the Warriors, and expect a fast paced aggressive style of play, where we  play hard until the final whistle.
