Hello! My name is Amy Batchelor and this is my fifth year in the Mariemont City School District. I began my teaching experience in Dayton. I taught fifth through seventh grade and then team taught eighth grade through high school. The previous seven years have been at an elementary school in Norwood. Iam currently working at Mariemont High School in the morning and then travel to Mariemont Elementary for the afternoon.

I graduated from the School of Creative and Performing Arts in 1992. I was very fortunate in my high school career to perform with a musical theatre group in both Germany and France. I also had the opportunity to audition and eventually be chosen to perform with a national touring group. I performed  'in The Sound of Music' for six months traveling all over the United States and Canada. It was truly a learning experience.

I graduated college from Miami University in 1996 and then began my masters at Wright State University. I have a bachelors in music education and a masters in supervision and curriculum.

I live in Milford with my husband, Mike, and our two amazing boys Vincent who turns 4 on November 15th and Cooper who just turned 1 on July 1st. I have 6 nephews, yes that's right, all BOYS who live both here and in Arizona. I also have a dog, golden/lab mix, named Lucy.
