Course Objectives:

Utilizing the computer as a tool for design

  1. Introduce concepts of home design

  2. Introduce basic concepts in construction techniques

  3.   Develop proper architectural drawing concepts

  4.   Develop a model of the design created  

 

Description:
Architectural drawing and house design is a semester course studying the basic concepts of house design using the computer.  House floor plans and elevations will be created and a building of a scale model will be developed.  An emphasis on the use of space and contemporary life styles will be studied and incorporated into the designs.

Course Prerequisite:  none

Fee:  $35.00 lab fee.
