Jacqueline Moses Meyer is a native Californian and began her position at Mariemont High School after relocating to the area from San Francisco in 2011.

Ms. Meyer double majored in journalism and communication studies while at California State University, Northridge, where she was an award winning policy debater and public speaking champion.

Additionally, she holds an MA degree in English from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. As part of her master's program, Ms. Meyer traveled to the Sichuan province of China to teach an English language immersion course to ninth grade students at the prestigious Zhonghe High School in Chengdu. She developed a great love and appreciation for Sichuan cuisine, and her time in Chengdu remains one of her most treasured cultural experiences.

In her spare time, Ms. Meyer enjoys volunteering for the Terrace Park chapter of Kindervelt, reading classic and contemporary literature, cooking, gardening, traveling, and visiting her friends and family in California. She resides in Terrace Park, and loves being a part of her district community.
