Week of October 9

This incredible Indian Summer we have been experiencing makes it very hard to believe that this is the last week iof the regular season from most of our fall sports.  It seems like last week I was writing the blog post welcoming everyone back to the excitement of another school year.  Tournament draws are taking place as I write this post on Sunday, and we will update those this week.

The girls soccer Warriors defeated Wyoming and Batavia last week.  The JV Warriors play Landmark at Schuler Park on MOnday  at 530,  and both teams this week host Deer Park at home on Wednesday at 5 and 7pm.  This is our Youth Soccer Night, and all youth soccer players are admitted free if theiy wear their jersey to the game on Wednesday.  On Saturday, the varsity and JV wrap up the regular season at Badin at Hamilton High School.

The varsity boys soccer team split last week's action with a loss to Wyoming and a win at Batavia.  The Varsity boys travel to Deer Park on Tuesday at 7pm, before traveling to Reading on Thursday at 5pm.  OPn Saturday, both the JV and the Varsity wrap up the regular season at Hamilton High School as they battle the Badin Rams.

The football Warriors look to rebound from Friday's last minute loss to Reading with a CHL game at Taylor on Friday at 7pm.  The JV Warriors will host the YellowJackets Saturday morning at 10am.

The volleyball Warriors finish the regular season at home with a Tuesday night encounter with the Wyoming Cowboys, and then Deer Park visits on Thursday as we celebrate our seniors before the game.

The Cross Country Warriors compete in the CHL Championships Saturday at Taylor High School beginning at 9am.

The Varsity Golf Warriors will attempt to complete the District Golf Championship on Monday at Beavercreek Golf Club.  The golfers started the tournament last Tuesday on a rain soaked course before the tournament was cancelled 5 hours later after 3 attempted starts.

The tennis Warriors completed their season at the sectional tournament on Friday.  The Lady Warriors end the season with a 15-3 record.

The Booster's Hubbard Memorial Golf Tournament fundraiser is this Thursday at Terrace Park Country Club.

The Booster's Annual Mattress Sale is Saturday, November 4th in the MHS Auxilliary Gym from 10am to 5pm.  You'll find great deals on great mattresses while supporting Warrior Athletes.

Thanks for your support of Warrior Athletics.  We hope to see you at an upcoming game or tournament game, and hope you'll join us in our attempts to #bebetter and respect the game.
