Week of September 18th

The varsity girls soccer team remains in the 5th slot in the Enquirer's Coaches Poll this week, and have a rare Monday CHL match today at 4:30 at Reading stadium.  The Warriors enjoy a long break during the week and then travel to Bexley on Saturday with JV  at 1 and varsity at 3pm.  The JV Lady Warriors host Reading on Monday at 4:30, and then both Lady Warrior squads host Taylor next Wednesday at 5 and 7pm.

The boys soccer Warriors climbed to #2 in the Enquirer poll with wins over Indian Hill and CHCA last week.  The Warriors next match is at Oakwood on Saturday at  12 and 1:15, andf the JV boys host Reading Monday at 6pm. The teams then  travel to Taylor on Tuesday at 5 and 7pm. 

Join us Wednesday evening at Skyline Chilit in Fairfax for the Warrior Pep Rally from 6-8pm.  The Rally will feature our team, band and cheerleaders, with prozes and other giveaways from 6-8pm. 20% of the food sales that evening come back to MHS.  Hope you can join us!

The 2nd ranked football Warriors travel to Madeira this Friday at 7pm for their first CHL road trip. The Mustangs will be celebrating homecoming, and the Warriors are crashing the party.  Be sure to come early and support your Warriors.  The JV football team hosts the Mustangs Saturday morning at 10am.

The Volleyball Lady Warriors travel to Deer Park at 530 and 630 on Tuesday before returning home on Saturday morning at 10am and 11am to host the Finneytown Wildcats in CHL action.

Your running Warriors continue to run at the head of the pack i the city, after the girls team took 3rd place at Milford last week. The Lady Running Warriors are on top of the Coaches Poll this week, while the boys check in at the 7th spot.  Both squads run at New Richmond this Saturday at 9am.

Your Lady Warriors Tennis team starts the week ranked 7th after the Coaches Classic.  The Lady Warriors have West Clermont on Monday, at Taylor on Tuesday, home with Wyoming on Wednesday and at Milford on Friday.

Taylor on Tuesday and Wyoming on Wednesday sounds like a station on SiriusXM Radio, doesn't it?  But if they're wins, it'll still be music to our ears....

The varsity golf team plays in the CHL Championships on Tuesday at Glenview starting at 9:23 in the morning.

Mark your calendars now for the Booster's Hubbard Memorial Golf Outing on Thursday October 12 at Terrace Park Country Club.  It's always a grat fundraiser for the Boosters.  The Mattress Sale visits us again on November 4th. get a great deal on a new mattress while supporting a great cause!  You'll sleep better!  And if you like to plan ahead, the annual Warriors Sports Stag will take place February 8th at the 20th Century Theater in Oakley.  Dave Lapham, the voice of the bengals will be our featured guest this year.  The Bengals may struggle, but "Lap" always has his A game and is great to hear.  More details to follow.  Hope you can make it!
