The temperatures have finally taken a dip for the colder, and Christmas is right around the corner. Another fun Meet the team Nite took place this week with all of our winter athletes on hand. Always a fun night to get everyone together and kick off the season. Remember to come out and see a different team in action and appreciate the skills that go into that sport, and the passion of the coaches who lead and teach our athletes.
Girls basketball opened the season with a win over McNicholas on Wednesday. The Lady Warriors host Taylor on Sarturday the 3rd at 11am for a varsity only match, and then travel to Indian Hill to Beat the Braves on the 7th at 6 and 730. They Wyoming Cowboys ride into Mariemont on Saturday the 10th at 530 and 7, and Deere Park visits on the 17th at 12 and 130. Summit Country Day's JV and Beechwood visit oon the 20th, and the Lady Warriors trvel to Badin on the 22nd to wrap up the old year.
The Boys Roundballers open with new Richmond on Saturday at 4,530, and 7, and then host Batavia on the 6th at 430,6,and 730. A trip to Taylor is the agenda on Friday the 9th for all three teams, and then it's a week off before Indian Hill visits for the MercyHealth Tipoff Classic with all three teams in action. The Warriors travel to CNE on the 21st for three games, and on the 27th and 28th, the varsity and JV Warriors travel to TriVillage for their Holiday Classic.
The Swimmers and Divers have a busy month. The Swimmers race Indian Hill and Taylor on the 6th at home, and then host McNicholas on the 21st. The divers host home meets on December 3rd and 17th, along with their coompetitions in the swim meets.
Our wrestlers have a busy month as they compete in the George Williams tournament at Hughes on Dec 3. On the 10th, the Warriors coomnpete in the Oakwood Duals, and on the 16th and 17th, the Blanchester Duals await the Warriors. A lot of competition for the young squad.
