 It's that great time of the year when most of the regular seasons have wrapped up and we dive into the excitement of the tournaments!  The Warriors have been fortunate to have a number of successful seasons and look forward to the start of the tournaments.  Here's what we;ve done in the tournaments so far and what we have to look forward to:

Golf finished the sectional tournament in 6th place, 2 spots away from moving on to the District Tournament.  Senior Drew Moran capped a great senior season by qualifying for the District Tournament.  

The girls tennis teams had a fantastic year year going 17-3 and finishing 3rd in the CHL.  The Lady Warriors had a tough draw in the sectional and ended their season after a hard fought, competetive sectional tournament.

The varsity football team is still in the regular season and hoping to securte a playoff spot.  The Warriors downed Reading last week 16-13 in a physical contest that saw the Warriors enter the red zone 4 times and leave it with 3 field goals.  The Warriors travel to Finneytown Friday at 7pm.

The Volleyball team ended their season in the sectional tournament Saturday at Blanchester as they lost in 4 close games to Norwood.

The Cross Country teams travelled to Taylor on Saturday for the CHL Championships.  While the Lady Warriors trailed Wyoming most of the season in the city polls, the Lady Warriors outscored the Cowboys by 3 points to win the CHL Champiolnship.  Congratulations to Coach Thomas and the team on a great race.  The Boys team finished a great day in second place behind Indian Hill.  Congratulations to Coach Dragovich and the team on their race.  Coach Valentine and his Junior High Warriors took the gold on both sides, winning the boys and the girls championships.  Congratulations to the junior high!   The varsity runners run in the district meet Saturday at Voice of America Park in West Chester.

The girls soccer Warriors tied a titanic battle on Thursday night with Madeira 1-1.  The tie enabled indian Hill to wrestle away the league championship based on points in the standings, while our Lady Warriors finished 2nd.  The Lady Warriors open tournament play Saturday night in Kusel Stadium agains the winner of the taylor/CNE game at 7pm.  Since this is an OHSAA tournament game, booster passes and senior discounts are not accepted. 

The boys soccer team captured its 3rd CHL title in 4 years with an excitinig win over Madeira Monday night.  The Warriors open tournament play Monday against Mt. Healthy in Kusel Stadium at 7pm.  With a win, the top ranked Warriors will host MacNicholas Thursday at 7pm to avenge an earlier regular season loss.  Since this an OHSAA tournament game, booster passes and senior discounts are not accepted.

Congratulations to the 7th grade Junior High Volleyball team for winning their bracket of the CHL post season tournament!

The junior high soccer teams open their post season tournaments this week.  Girls are in Kusel Stadium Monday at 430 vs Clark, and the boys travel to Princeton on Tuesday at 715 vs CHCA.
