22 and Counting!

The Lady Warriors basketball team continued their magical season into the Sectional Tournament on Saturday by posting a 66-26 win over Shroder at Withrow High School. The win, the Lady Warriors 22nd of the season against 1 loss, is their 12th straight. The Lady Warriors face Taft in Round 2 Wednesday night at Withrow at 6pm. Tickets are $6 presale at the school, and the school keeps 50% of the presale. With a win,the Lady Warriors will advance to the sectional finals on Monday 2/22. The boys basketball Warriors topped Madeira in a senior night win Friday night, and look to extend their modest three game winning streak at Taylor on Tuesday to close out the regular season. A win at Taylor would secure 3rd place in the CHL and a winning record on the season. The Warriors open the sectional tournament Saturday at Mason at 3:30 vs Hughes. In the CHL Wrestling Championships, Mikey Butler finished 2nd and Drew Goheen and Riley Gullino each finished 4th after slow starts on the day. The Wrestlers compete in the Sectional Tournament this weekend at Batavia. Our Amazing Water Warriors had tremendous performances and great drops in times in this past weekend's sectional swim championships at Mason. The boys won their 8th consecutive sectional championship, while the girls followed their CHL Championship with a sectional championship of their own. Both teams advance to the District meet at Miami University Friday, boys in the morning and girls in the evening. Good seats are still available for the 11th Annual Mariemont Sports Stag at the 20th Century in Oakley. Former Bengal and current CBS NFL Football analyst Solomon Wilcots will be the featured speaker for the evening. All proceeds directly benefit the Warrior Athletic Department for High School and Junior High School Athletic activities.
